Ocean, waves, child
Crushed sea shells, sand dollars, memories
Feel Sun, wind, burnt
Smell, ocean, salt, water
Roar, crash, silence, waves
Marine, layer, fog
Flotsam, detritus, Special
shells, rocks, glass…fill the pockets…for the trip home.
Walking, running, splashing, finding
Birds, fish, crabs
Exploring, seeing, Touching
Sand, seaweed, driftwood
burntwood, wetwood
Tired, oh so tired
Ocean, sky, horizon…never ending…never ending…never ending
Leaving, missing, crying
And then there was light…And the light was good…And we stayed in the light.
And the charcoal touched the paper…And the water washed the paper…And the Remember came back.
Can we go back…can we go home…can we remember.
