At some point, we finally work our way to the inevitable conclusion that a baby boy, girl or intersex individual is born with inalienable human rights which supersede any parental control. Part of Covered California’s mission is to improve health care quality and lower costs. In an attempt to meet these goals they announced a partnership with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Foundation’s Choosing Wisely initiative. The Choosing Wisely initiative seeks to encourage better dialog between patients and physicians to reduce duplicative tests based on evidence when charting the most effective course of treatment.
The new Instagram video sharing app is nothing to get excited about. It has some real shortcomings that don’t have simple solutions. Instagram photos are interesting 20% of the time. I suspect the videos, like the majority of photos, will either be horribly mundane and a waste of storage or be hyper-produced which looses the whole allure of spontaneous (instant) capture of life that Instagram is suppose to offer.

The 34,000 square foot enclosed equestrian center at Project Ride is almost like a sanctuary for the soul. Inside the large cavernous structure is this incredible open space filled with the muted voices of volunteers, riders and horses.
