What can only be seen as a gift from heaven, Apostle’s Romney and Ryan declared that emergency rooms have been ordained for the uninsured by God. As with all prophetic utterances from prophets like Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, the full power of their prophecy is not revealed all at once but must be divined over time.
Nature and God
Apostle Ryan revealed the true nature of God’s plan for the uninsured when he spoke with George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s This Week in on July 1st. Ryan declared,
What — what Mrs. Kennedy and others were saying is this is new government-granted right. We disagree with the notion that our rights come from government, that the government can now grant us and define our rights. Those are ours. Those come from nature and God, according to the Declaration of Independence, a huge difference in philosophy.
Bill of Rights mumbo jumbo
Paul Ryan essentially declares that the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights and successive amendments granting the right to vote for minorities and women are all a contrived artifice that can be ignored. Only God, in Ryan’s eyes, can bestow rights upon Americans. I am sure that if he is elected he would like have to the new Cabinet position of Secretary of God Given Rights. Let us toss out all those pesky “rights” that so many people have fought and died for in favor of a new prophet and interpreter of God’s law, Paul Ryan.
An ER in every garden
Apostle Romney completed and illuminated the full extent of God’s direction in an interview with Scott Pelley on a 60 Minutes broadcast.
PELLEY: Does the government have a responsibility to provide health care to the fifty million Americans who don’t have it today?
ROMNEY: Well, we do provide care for people who don’t have insurance, people — we — if someone has a heart attack, they don’t sit in their apartment and — and die. We — we pick them up in an ambulance, and take them to the hospital, and give them care. And different states have different ways of providing for that care.
Romney is clear in his vision that all states have different ways of “providing care” for the uninsured. It is apparent to this novice theologian that Romney has provided the missing puzzle piece to Ryan’s quixotic and somewhat confounding statement about God conferring rights to citizens and not governments.
God’s gift
Rarely is the full extent of God’s love for humanity expressed in just one Gospel or a couple of epistles. It is the collection of the Old and New Testaments, combined with insightful interpretations from people like the Pope and me, which reveal God’s true plan for your life. Consequently, our future anointed leaders, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, have shown us the true path for the uninsured in America: Emergency Rooms are their God given right.
Faith, not doctors, heal the sick
Why else would God have provided emergency rooms all over America if they weren’t to be used? There is no doubt that the Garden of Eden was probably equipped with an emergency room. God would not be so callous as to forsake the uninsured. Those with pre-existing conditions, children, the poor, the unemployed may now partake of the fruit of the ER with the full blessing of Apostle’s Romney and Ryan. And to paraphrase Christ, “Go in peace, your faith has healed you.”, because you are not getting health insurance if Romney and Ryan are elected.
