When the balloons that keep me happy start to deflate, by law, other balloons must inflate so there is no empty space in the jar. For instance, when I am not feeling very successful in my job the balloon of insecurity starts to inflate.

My Social Media Experiment
After a year of using Social Media, going from zero to maybe 45 mph, I am having positive and meaningful results. I have purchased goods and services from people I have connected with through Social Media.

As I walked into the Lumen’s Light & Living show room I was not sure what to expect. This was my first Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce (SRCC) mixer. You may be as surprised as I was to learn that Sacramento has a chamber of commerce focused on businesses and supporters of the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender (LGBT) community.
